Based on the true story of Liviu Cornel Babeş, „The Cave of Masks”, tries to depict some of the events that caused the artist to be one of the first romanians to publicly protest against the constrictions of the communist regime. From simple events of his life as a family man and as an artist, to his encounters with the Secret Police, the movie showcases a tragic story that was nearly forgotten in time.
